Le Mas des Figues is a charming guest house with a saltwater outdoor pool, located in the heart of the Alpilles Natural Park, within Philippe's agricultural estate, which is in the process of becoming fully organic. Just 2.2 mi from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, you will discover a peaceful countryside farm, serene and very different from a hotel. Here, the service is more intimate and personalized, reflecting our commitment to living and sharing a lifestyle that respects nature. The air-conditioned rooms are spacious and individually decorated, each with a private bathroom. They feature king-size four-poster wrought iron beds. Some rooms also offer a private garden with an outdoor seating area. Each room has a courtesy tray with an electric kettle, while complimentary coffee capsules and tea bags are available in the dining room. By staying at Le Mas des Figues, you actively participate in our ecological approach. There is no daily housekeeping for extended stays, unless requested, and we practice waste sorting and composting. The botanical garden, designed to preserve biodiversity, attracts butterflies, bees, ladybugs, and dragonflies. Our olive groves are grassed to respect nature and are part of our FRBio10 certified estate, practicing 100% organic, pesticide-free farming. In the morning, we offer a generous brunch made from seasonal organic vegetables from our garden, cooked with organic olive oil from our property. You will also find a buffet of homemade desserts, including jams, tarte tatin, organic fruit crumbles, as well as organic gluten-free bread and other pastries made with olive oil. We serve cheese, Greek yogurt, and everything is prepared in perfect sanitary conditions. Here, nothing comes from the supermarket. Every product is from our estate, guaranteed without nitrites or plastic packaging. Our home features a terrace with breathtaking views of the living nature and our Mediterranean garden, where you can admire thousands of rose bushes and a permanent exhibition of contemporary sculptures. These artworks naturally age with time, much like myself, your host Philippe—70 years old, a little wrinkled, but still youthful in spirit and full of energy. Le Mas des Figues also offers a free self-service beer bar, as well as a shop where you can purchase our homemade products, such as our organic olive oil and jams. We grow what we cook, using no pesticides or chemical treatments, in harmony with the surrounding nature. For nature lovers, our estate provides direct access to hiking, running, and mountain biking trails in the Alpilles, including a path along the canal that leads to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Les Baux-de-Provence is just 4 mi away. Free parking is available on-site at Le Mas des Figues, and you can rent bikes in Saint-Rémy.
