Elcot Park Hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment and is relaunching as ‘The Retreat’; a newly re-imaged 18th-century country house hotel and community beacon, set in 16 acres of magnificent grounds, and located between Hungerford and Newbury in the heart of the beautiful West Berkshire countryside with breath-taking views across the Kennet valley. Joining its riverside cousin, The Miter at Hampton Court, The Retreat is the second hotel by the acclaimed Signet Collection, and is home to 55 individually-styled bedrooms and suites, two fantastic eating & drinking experiences, Yu; our pan-Asian restaurant and 1772, our all-day dining Brasserie and The Signet Spa, an expansive health club with hydrotherapy pools, treatment rooms, steam & sauna, gym, spin studio and wellness area. Within the hotel grounds there is a walled working garden, tennis court, an outdoor infinity pool, croquet lawn and a children’s zone.
