The Hotel Hohenhaus, originally a 16th century manor house, today offers comfortable rooms furnished with hand-picked antiques, the finest fabrics and marble bathrooms, offering unobstructed views of the Blutbuchental or the Lindenhof. Original works of art are on display throughout the hotel, including works by the Austrian expressionist Oskar Kokoschka and handmade tapestries from the famous 17th century "Manufacture nationale des Gobelins". Renovation work has been underway in our historic castle building since 2022, so that in the future we will have a total of 40 rooms and various wellness suites. For relaxation, there is a sauna, a swimming pool, a tennis court and an extensive library with a reading corner by the open fireplace. Our guests can hike and enjoy nature on 1600 hectares of the hotel's own forest. The Hotel Hohenhaus is a perfect oasis for gourmets and nature lovers who love something special. In our two restaurants, cosmopolitans and friends of classic hospitality will find an ambiance that invites you to linger and enjoy. Far from trends and fashions, the Hotel Hohenhaus offers a distinctive, timeless style. Of course, your pet is also very welcome at Hohenhaus. However, we would like to ask you to register in good time before your arrival. Please note that there are additional charges and that pets are not permitted in our restaurants.

Please note that the castle is currently being rebuilt and the property is accommodating all guests in their main building. In June 2022, the property will further extend double rooms and spa suites from 49 sqm to 428 sqm.
